There are some different good ways to make money online from starting a home based business, but the one I’ve found to be the most profitable is affiliate marketing. Making blogs and doing stuff with Google Adsense and things like that are great and all, but there is a lot more money to be made with selling product as an affiliate.
When you’re an affiliate, what you do is your promote other people’s products online and get commissions for every sale you make. Many affiliates like myself, like to promote products that are downloadable because they pay out the highest commissions. A product that is downloadable doesn’t cost the owner anything when someone buys it, so the owners of these types of products pay high commissions to get the sales they want.
I used to promote a product that either cost the buyer $150 or $250 based on what level package they bought. If they bought the lower end package then I would receive $90, if they bought the higher end package I would receive $150. You can see that the payout for these products makes them very appeasing to promote, which is why affiliate marketing is becoming such a popular business.
Something else that makes this line of work so appeasing is that there are many different ways to promote these products. You may find a different way of promoting than I did, and you may enjoy the way you do it and I’ll continue to enjoy the way I do it. With the technology of the web, there are a lot of possibilities.
