Passive Income Strategies

November 27th, 2009 No comments

There are many different passive income strategies online to choose from. You need to sort through these passive income strategies and choose one that suits your needs. I’m going to show you some different passive income strategies that you can use to decide which one is best for you.

The first one I want to talk about is affiliate marketing. There are certain programs online that you can promote and get paid a recurring commission for. Some of these programs cost $40 per month and pay out a commission of 50%. This means that if someone signs up for the recurring membership and stays a member for five months, then you get $100 just from that one sale. There are many different ways to promote affiliate products online but we will not go into that.

The second one I am going to talk about is blogging. There are many blogs that are receiving a passive income through showing ads on the sides of their blogs. The hard part about blogging is getting a blog built up with a consistent reader base, but there is a lot of information online that talks about how to do this properly.

Another passive income strategy is by creating your own membership site. This is sort of like the affiliate marketing example, except you’re the one who owns the product. You can create a site with a lot of information on one particular topic and charge people monthly to access the site. The cool thing about this is that you can have affiliates promoting your site for you while you just make sure to maintain the site. These are just a few passive income strategies that you can try.

There are many passive income sources online. The real key is finding one that you are interested in and that suits your needs. I’m going to be talking about a couple different passive income sources that you have as options, and then you can do more research on each one and find one that’s best for you.

The first one that I am going to talk about is blogging. Blogging is very easy to do and can easily become a source of passive income. When you first start blogging it me take awhile before you start getting visitors to your blog, after you do you can start earning money through adsense. Once you start getting visitors to your blog, there are a lot of options for how to make money with those visitors.

Another thing that you can do to create a passive income source is to become an affiliate. An affiliate sells other people’s products work commission. The Key to creating a passive income source from affiliate marketing is to promote products that have a recurring commission. You can sign up for the website Clickbank.com and find products on there to promote that are recurring commission products.

You can also create a passive income by having your own membership site. When you have your own membership site you can charge people monthly to access this site. The only hard part about this is that you must make sure that the website is worth people paying money for. The other hard part is that you have to create the site with a lot of content first before you can even start selling memberships to the site. All of the above are great ideas of passive income sources.

Building Passive Income With Recurring Commissions

November 26th, 2009 No comments

If you’re looking for a way to start building passive income, then the best way would have to be with recurring commissions. With recurring commissions, you may make an initial $20 commission for each sale, but then another $20 for each month the person you refers stays a member. This is why building passive income with recurring commissions is much easier than building one with just single sale commissions.

How can you start cashing in on these recurring commissions though? Well the first thing you’re going to want to do is sign up for Clickbank.com. If you already know how Clickbank works then you can skip ahead, but if you don’t already know then here’s a quick rundown.

Clickbank is a site where many vendors put there products to sell, and we can sell there products for high commissions. All of the products on Clickbank are all downloadable, so the commissions typically range between 50% and 70%. When you decide to promote a certain product, you get your own personalized link that people can use to take them to the sales page. Whenever someone uses this link to get to the products sales page and then buys the product, you get the commission for it since they used your link to get there.

If you’re promoting products on Clickbank then it’s best to pick products that have a recurring commission if you want to start building passive income. Most affiliates on Clickbank are selling products that may make them $30 or $40 per sale, but instead it’s better to sell products where you make about $20 per month for each month the person stays a member.

Affiliate Marketing Guide – Traffic = Sales

November 15th, 2009 No comments

If you’re looking for an affiliate marketing guide, then I’m going to assume that you already know the basics of affiliate marketing and you’re looking for a guide to show you how to make more money with your marketing efforts. If this is not the case and you are relatively new, then I highly suggest that you take a look at our private section. Don’t worry because it’s completely free, and the information inside can help you to become a more successful marketer.

So You Want More Money?

Obviously if you’re here because you want to make more money with affiliate marketing, so let’s cut to the chase and get started.

In this affiliate marketing guide, I am mostly going to lay down some basics for how to drive traffic to you site. This is because if you’ve been working online for any amount of time then you know that traffic = sales. You can also increase your sales by increasing conversions and doing some other things, but when it all comes down to it, traffic is key.

Have you ever heard the phrase “Jack of all trades. Master of none.”? To be successful in anything you need to specialize in something. One of the biggest mistakes that people make in this business is that they try to get there feet wet in every little thing, but they never master just one thing. If this is you then you need to stop jumping from method to method and just stick to one thing… one plan.

I’m going to outlines some of the best ways to get traffic to your webpages, and I would highly suggest that you pick one and master it. There are those who are making about $100 or so per day doing many different things online, and then there are those who are making $1000 plus per day specializing in one certain thing.

Driving Traffic To Your Webpage

Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the most common ways of driving traffic to a webpage. It involves writing articles and posting them on article directories. When posting an article to an article directory, you are allowed to put your own links in the article, which lead to your own webpages. The article is put on the article directories high traffic site, in which your link gets a lot of exposure, and the article directory usually has adsense ads on the sides of your article, which makes them money to provide you this service.

Also with most high end article directories like Ezinearticles, your article will get picked up by Google and put into there search engines usually in a high position for a few days. This gives your article a lot of search engine traffic, and can lead to a lot of people visiting your webpage through your link.

Pay Per Click Marketing

Pay per click marketing, or ppc marketing, involves putting ads on the sides of search engines for certain keywords. If you go into Google and type in a search phrase, 99% of the time you will see ads on the right side of the screen. Marketers are paying for these ads each time someone clicks on one of them. This price can range anywhere from $0.01 to over $10.00. This is a great way to drive instant targeted traffic to a webpage, but the real trick here is making sure you are making more money than you are spending.

Starting Your Own Niche/Blog Site

There are many advantages to starting your own website. One of the main advantages is that it has the potential to do great things for you long term. It’s your own site so you get to make 100% of the profits that it brings in, and articles on your own site tend to have better “sticking power” than ones in put on article directories. If you put an article on an article directory it may have high search engine rankings for the first few days, but then it will take a drastic drop without proper backlinking.

If you’re going to be in this business for a good length of time then I would recommend starting your own niche site on something you’re passionate about. Take the time to build it up a little day by day, and you can also link articles from article directories to it to drive initial traffic to it before the start starts to pick up decent traffic of its own.

Just The Beginning…

This affiliate marketing guide was just the beginning of the various ways to drive traffic to your offers. The one thing I think you should take out of this article is that you should really decide on something to specialize in and stick with it. It really is better to master one technique of driving traffic rather than to have general knowledge of all of them.
